Heavy rainfall in recent weeks has revived Lake Urmia, as well as other water bodies, including Helleh, Miqan, Hoor al-Azim, Zarivar, Kani Barazan, and Gahar Lake, with some wetlands filling for the first time in decades as migratory birds return.
